Noro Haunui Silk

Noro Haunui Silk (pronounced Hoo-noo-ee, meaning “place of the winds”) is a natural fusion of raw mulberry silk and Haunui merino wool, ethically sourced from the Taranui farm in New Zealand. This single-ply yarn features a gentle thick-and-thin texture that adds rustic depth and luxurious softness to every stitch. Un-dyed and minimally processed to preserve the wool’s natural beauty, Haunui Silk comes in rich, earthy tones of oatmeal, brown, gray, and black. With its heavy worsted gauge, it’s ideal for creating durable outerwear and sophisticated, heritage-inspired pieces.
